Last Names of Nuevo Leon

I want to congratulate you on your interest to find your Ancestry. It is a journey that is very rewarding and fulfilling. As you do your research I know you will come across obscure history and events. In your findings, you will learn that your ancestors also played a role in the shaping of two countries and how our lives are solely the product of those men and women that came before us.

Getting Started in Mexican Genealogy online research is very simple and easy, that is if you already have experience. If you don’t, don’t worry this email series will show you how to get started. In the long run, it will also save you countless hours that you would have had wasted trying to learn by yourself. Once you are done with this email series you will have a solid foundation to start researching and looking for your ancestors.

As you go through this email series make sure to pay close attention to the chapter titled “Your Family is the Place to Start” since this is your starting point and there is no way around it. Your family can save you a lot of time and effort in finding your ancestors. Place close attention to the clues they provide. If possible, record your interviews or at the least make sure to write notes since you might quickly forget most of what you heard.

I want you to keep an open mind and adapt my examples to make them your own, think of ways that you can use the resources that I present to you in your own research.

Now that you have decided to look for your ancestors it is time to get started by having a mentality shift. In the post, you will read about common misconceptions that I had and many other people have about Mexican genealogical research.

If you have not done so you can join the Meet Your Ancestors email series here: https://mexicangenealogy.com/meet-your-ancestors/
