In this post, I share a genealogical book about four great Mexican Dynasties. It is a great resource for anyone researching the descendants of Moctezuma.
The book is in Spanish and it was written by Matilde Cabrera Ipiña de Corsi back in 1956. It is named "Cuatro Grandes Dinastias Mexicanas en los Descendientes de los Hermanos Fernandez de Lima y Barragan".
The book is divided in four parts. The first part contains the genealogies of the ancestors of Isabel de Moctezuma.
The second part, talks about the descendancy of Isabel de Moctezuma until Maria Josefa Salvadora Andrada de Moctezuma who married Jose Antonio Ortiz de Zarate. They lived in San luis Potosi and had twelve children.
The third part contains a copy of a lineage certificate proving noble blood for Juan Felix de Rujula y Vaca. In this section the Fernandez de Lima brothers marry three daughters of Josefa Salvadora and Jose Antonio.
The fourth and final part contains the descenndacy of those three marriages up until the most recent generation in the 1950's.
The book is out of print and is very hard to obtain in physical form but, recently I was researching on FamilySearch and came across a microfilm that contained the scanned book. In case you are interested in reading this book, the button below will take you to the microfilm.
